MILES ENTERED INTO STARTING LINEUP

“Hi. I’m CJ Miles. I will be starting for the Jazz from now on.”
According to Ross Siler’s latest blog, CJ Miles will start against the Orlando Magic tonight in place of Wesley Matthews, Jr. All of my 11 regular readers can be thankful for my tip a couple of weeks ago that Cj Miles will be a big fantasy basketball player this season. Obviously, Miles has a little ways to go before he is a big fantasy player, but his current games show promise.
Because CJ Miles has been in the league for 5 years now, we forget so easily that he is only 22 years old. And a couple of offseasons ago when the Jazz matched Oklahoma City’s contract offer of 4 years and roughly $16 million a season, the move was somewhat controversial. At that point CJ Miles hadn’t really shown much more than promise and I will readily admit that I was among the Jazz fans that was against the match. I was wrong. CJ Miles is at least an average starter in this league right now and his $4 million a season is looking like a bargain.
So keep an eye on CJ Miles as he has possibly become the starter this season for the rest of the year. Last season when he started, I had my doubts and I think he hurt the team on occasion. This year, I am excited for him to start. That is one piece of eveidence of CJs maturity.
